Make Way for the Lady

In everyone else's eyes, she's a sweet girl whom everyone loves: an outstanding student, pretty, and, most importantly, humble and polite, the perfect example of a proper young lady. But she really wants to throw down her schoolbag and yell, “Who's a lady? Whoever wants to be one can be one!” If her mom didn't nag her all day long to be ladylike, ladylike, and even more ladylike, she wouldn't plaster on a stiff smile and dress head to toe in white. She's not Xiaolongnu, so why dress up like she's depressed?

But, Mom, don't pinch my ear! That hurts! See? The price of not being a proper young lady is not only getting nagged to death, but being punished, too! What kind of mother treats her daughter like this? Are you even my real mom? Resentment, resentment, on an endless loop.

But she can't fight back. All she can do is grumble quietly to herself. Not being ladylike is her mother's eternal sore spot. Because of this stupid reason, her mom was dumped, and to make matters worse, she got pregnant with her. So, as an unmarried mother, she resolved to raise her daughter into the most elegant young lady in the world, so that everyone who called her vulgar would be put to shame.

And so, she grew up under this sort of torment. Her words and actions became increasingly ladylike, but her rebellious streak grew right along with her.

Then one day, they ran into that damned man again, and the little beast inside her could no longer be held back! So what if she's not ladylike? Who says every woman has to be? Does she have to act all fake to find someone and get married? So what if she's a lazy woman, a willful woman who does whatever she wants? She's going to live a comfortable, happy life and spite everyone who bullied her and her mother! Besides, she has a secret weapon! This is a romance novel disguised as a space-themed story.
