Synopsis from the heroine’s perspective:

Because she was too fierce, she was cast aside!

Now she’s been reborn. Will she change? Absolutely not! There’s no such thing as too fierce, only fiercer!

Another proposal? Fine, come on in! How can I shut the door and sic Qiqi on you if I don’t let you in?

You want the Yan family fortune? Fine, take it! If it doesn’t make you choke, then you’re fiercer than I am!

Want a career in government? Fine, I’ll help! How else can I get you up high enough for the fall to kill you?

She is the most valuable unmarried woman around, and the lone orphan left behind. The more the men love the unrivaled Yan family fortune behind her, the more they hate her fierce nature.

And you still think you can marry me? Dream on!

This time, she’ll either stay unmarried or have a wedding unlike any before or after it!

This time, she, Yan Wushuang, swears to find a good man who loves money even more than he loves her!

Synopsis from the hero’s perspective, one:

She is the most valuable unmarried orphan around. They are the three most eligible bachelors in Wushuang City.

At an unprecedented public bride-selection, three men with their own agendas gather in one place.

Zhao Jiqing, her companion who is both rival and friend, offers a contract as his betrothal gift: Marry me. I’ll guarantee your position as head wife and provide for you, as long as the Yan family changes its name to Zhao.

Shi Cheng, her loyal and honest guard, speaks his love as formally as he reports on official business: “My mistress will always be my mistress. Even if she marries beneath her station to wed me, she will still be my mistress. The Yan family belongs to you, and so does your servant.”

Zhao Qiren, the refined and courteous “ex-husband,” writes a poem to express his true feelings: “In Wushuang City, Yan Wushuang stands alone. Fierce and formidable, she blooms on her own. The Zhao clan has a son named Qiren, who would gladly give his heart to his childhood sweetheart.”

She smiles brightly. Plotting a marriage? Sure! She’ll have a say in it too!

She’s been using an abacus since she was three, calculating family fortunes, businesses, and people’s hearts. When it comes to her marriage, no one gets to decide unless she says so!

Synopsis from the hero’s perspective, two:

A delicate beauty? The kind who pants after saying one sentence and takes half a day to stroll around the back garden? Forget it. He wants someone who can take care of him, not someone he has to take care of.

A dignified lady? The kind who slathers half an inch of makeup on her face and never leaves the house without a veil? No way. By the time she’s ready, the sun will have set. What’s the point?

A coquettish beauty? The kind who flutters her eyelashes before she even speaks and bursts into tears at the first clap of thunder? Forget it. Is that a wife, or some living ancestor he’s brought home?

A wild one? The kind who takes off her clothes when he rolls up his sleeves and joins him in the bath when he goes to wash? Spare him. He may look delicate, but he’s a real man through and through. He doesn’t want a woman taking the initiative in bed.

A fierce one? You mean the kind with a commanding presence, who gets things done and never cries?

Ha! Marry her, hurry! No, wait, invite her in, hurry!

That’s true love!

Hey, what are you standing around for? Why are you looking at me? I’m a fierce-woman fanatic. Didn’t you know?
