The Scheming Prince and His Cold-Blooded Demon Consort

On her wedding night, with the bridal candles burning, her tender, loving husband cruelly embraces her best friend and pushes her into hell. At his command, more than three hundred members of the Tang family are beheaded in an instant, turning the entire general’s residence into a slaughterhouse. And as his elegant smile looks on approvingly, her best friend runs a sword through her heart. She dies with her eyes wide open.

She is resentful. She is full of hate. She swears to the heavens that even if she becomes a vengeful ghost, she will grind the enemies who destroyed her family to dust and cast them into the eighteenth level of hell!

Heaven answers her prayer. Her soul survives, and she is reborn in the body of the legitimate daughter of a timid prime minister. She has returned to face the enemies who sent her and her family to their deaths.

In this life, she will take her fate firmly into her own hands. She will never again let others carve her up at will, and she will never let anyone hurt her again!

Scene One:

Flames soar into the sky, and rivers of blood cover the ground. Wretched, helpless screams seem to gush from the depths of hell. A trembling man and woman stare in horror at the corpses scattered around them, then at the devilish young woman. Their hatred surges as they cry, “Liang Mulan, we never wronged you! Why are you so cruel as to put us to death? Aren’t you afraid of retribution?”

Dark red blood stains the girl’s gorgeous gown, making her clear, beautiful smile seem all the more bewitching and demonic. Her red lips move gently. “Never wronged me? Do you remember the more than three hundred members of the Tang family? Do you remember Tang Yufei, the girl you stabbed through the heart? She’s come back to claim your lives.”

The man and woman’s eyes widen in terror. Their blood turns to ice, and they collapse to the ground in despair. “Impossible! You must be lying. I refuse to believe the ravings of a madwoman like you!”

A glinting sword pierces their hearts. The girl’s cold, merciless voice rings out like a death sentence, piercing their battered souls. “Go on. The more than three hundred souls of the Tang family are waiting for you in hell.”

Scene Two:

“Liang Mulan, wasn’t it enough to shamelessly cling to my brother? Now you’re throwing yourself at His Highness Prince Qi, too! You’re nothing but an immoral, shameless woman. You’re not even fit to be my brother’s concubine, and now you think you can become Princess Qi? Stop dreaming and go look in a mirror! Do you really think Prince Qi would marry a promiscuous woman like you?”

Jealousy burns in the proud young woman’s eyes. Her pretty face twists with rage, and she looks ready to tear apart the woman before her, who smiles as if nothing could bother her.

Liang Mulan glances at her and fires back with a lethal retort. “I don’t know if he’ll marry me, but I do know he would never marry a noble, virtuous young lady like you. Isn’t that right, Your Highness?”

A tall, imposing man in a purple robe steps out from the shadows and stands beside her. He gives the arrogant noblewoman a cold look and replies without the slightest courtesy, “Of course. Even if every other woman in the world were dead, I still wouldn’t marry you. And she isn’t the one clinging to me. I’m the one who admires her and wants her to be my wife. The position of Princess Qi is hers alone!”
