The Blind Bride in a Substitute Marriage

You said, "Once we've held the wedding ceremony, there's no turning back. We're destined to spend our lives together. Even through mountains of blades and seas of fire, we must never abandon each other."

You said, "I'm here. Don't be afraid!"

You said, "We face life and death together. How could I leave you to fend for yourself?"

You said, "Susu, I've fallen in love with you. You can't escape me, not even to the ends of the earth or the depths of the underworld."

You said, "If I become king, you will be my queen. You are the only one in this world who can stand beside me."

So I believed you...

That day, you ascended the throne, full of pride and looking down upon the world. But the woman standing beside you, the one you crowned queen, was a beautiful, unfamiliar face!

The next day, you issued an edict granting a marriage, and a princess suddenly appeared in the royal family, destined to marry far away in another country.

The bridal sedan was bright red, the wedding clothes were bright red, yet they could not hide the pale face of the woman seated inside. She was the very wife to whom you had once promised never to part.

Now that you've let go of my hand, will you regret it one day?

Will you regret it...?
