Stay Away, Dark-Hearted Prince

Ling Yun, an actress, never imagined that this ancient-costume assassin film would have no one calling “Cut.” To stay alive, she has to disguise herself as a man and wander through this otherworldly realm. To find a way to cure the poison in her body, she can only pose as a guard and get close to the cold, scheming prince. Mini-scene One: The man (actually a woman): “Your Highness! I’m... a man. Surely one of the other brothers can scrub your back!” The prince: “Are the others not men?” The woman looked troubled. “Uh... but...” The prince snapped, “If you don’t come over here now, you can leave the prince’s residence tomorrow!” The woman’s heart sank. She had no choice but to leap into the bath... In the bath, the prince leaned back contentedly, enjoying the woman’s service as a smug smile played on his lips. Mini-scene Two: The prince: “What is your relationship with the Second Prince? Why did you meet him in the middle of the night?” The guard: “As Your Highness’s personal guard, I discovered the Second Prince sneaking into the residence late at night, so naturally I had to protect you.” The prince: “Starting tomorrow, move in here and live with me. That way, you can protect me properly!” The guard could only sweat profusely on the spot... Author’s note: This story is fun, sweet, and romantic... though there’s a little angst halfway through. Fortunately, it has a happy ending. The hero and heroine are well matched, and they love each other dearly. All you lovely readers are welcome to come watch, chat, and leave comments.
