What on earth is going on? The well-behaved, socially awkward top student, who had gone straight through her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, now sat hugging her knees in bewilderment. She had just been conducting a micro-scale nuclear reaction experiment in the lab. Now she was in a cave, where her senior sisters had shoved a whole group of handsome men at her. One was a prince of the imperial court, tall and imposing, with the bearing of a gentleman. One was the richest man in the capital, with striking features and an air of wealth. One was the top assassin in the martial world, his face sharp as a blade and his manner cold as ice. The handsome man currently struggling was the leader of the martial arts alliance, dignified and exceptionally poised. Her senior sisters gave the order: choose a husband, or die! She was dumbfounded. She didn’t want to choose someone at random, but she didn’t want to kill anyone either... What was she supposed to do!?
