She was a wisp of a soul atoning for her sins in hell, until an unknown force dragged her into a completely unfamiliar world.
Love, wealth, status, and power, the things nearly everyone dreamed of, were suddenly hers in the blink of an eye. She was Mo Keqing, the only daughter of the Mo family, the foremost of the four ancient clans of the Dusk Continent.
Her father cherished her as his own life. Though he knew she was no longer the original “Mo Keqing,” he still doted on her. His words, “You’re still just a child,” opened a tiny crack in the walls around her frozen heart. She swore to protect the Mo family, which mattered just as much to him, and to let nothing threaten it.
Her half-brother, who shared her father but treated her like an enemy, made life difficult for her at every turn. Rumors of their discord were rampant, but no one could understand the unspoken understanding between them.
In public, she was the Mo family’s delicate, gentle young lady, without the slightest temper. In private, Mo Keqing wore a smile as she did bad things without a trace of guilt.
She could smile, ignore and forgive other people’s provocations and mistakes, but she had her own rule: no more than three strikes. With one additional condition: it all depended on her mood!
Those who wronged her would not be punished on the spot; she merely preferred to let someone else do it for her.
Those who insulted her would not be answered in kind at the time; she would simply destroy their family another day.
With a serene smile, she could decide the fate of a person or an entire clan with a simple turn of her hand!
Do not mistake her gentleness and lack of aggression for weakness you can exploit. She simply does not want to lift a finger over something as trivial as a sesame seed or a bean.
Do not mistake her composure and modesty for cowardice. She is simply too lazy to wear herself out over a few pieces of scrap metal.
Is she gentle? Does adopting a few little animals count as gentle?
Is she cruel? Does breaking someone’s bones count as cruel?
[Her in public]
She slightly lifted her skirt and bent her knees. “Thank you.” She was never rude to anyone. Good manners were the foundation of her own image, and the first step toward strengthening her family’s reputation.
[Her in private]
“Master… I can’t sense the presence of any of my companions…” Aw, it was so useless.
“I know.” Just as expected.
“How did you know, Master?” That was strange. It hadn’t even told her it couldn’t sense them. Had she figured out that it had been quietly searching for its companions these past few days?
“Your brain isn’t very well developed, so you have to make up for it with your actions.” She rubbed her eyes, set down the book, and closed them. Slowly focusing her mind, she followed the method in the book to search for the elemental energy in the air.
“Master, you’re insulting me again!”

She slapped away the woman standing before her, spouting nonsense. Her long, scarlet robe was like a gorgeous flower blooming in hell. Her menacing expression and eyes, reddened by fury, were enough to make anyone avert their gaze. But the moment she looked at someone lost in her own thoughts, she transformed into a pool of tender affection, her voice so gentle it drew people in completely. “Little Qingqing~ I want a reward~!”
With that, she pounced.

At the Sacred Mountain of the Beast Domain, every kind of beast could be found. Those waiting for a divine beast to be born were itching to make their move, but the snow-pure, beautiful man spoke as if spitting poison: “Do they think they own the Sacred Mountain of the Beast Domain? They think they can just make a contract because they say so? Idiots!”

“Master, Master, they say you ate me!” A fluffy pink tail swished back and forth. He didn’t mind at all that his half-demon appearance had frightened quite a few people.
“Is Xiaoyue something you can eat?” the woman asked with a lovely smile.
The innocent half-demon fox shook his head. His fox ears atop his head folded back a little as she stroked him, and his clear, pale-pink eyes fixed on his master, waiting for her answer.
“So that means they lied to Xiaoyue, then?” Rumors might stop with the wise, but unfortunately, that crowd outside was nothing but a bunch of fools.
The innocent little fox flew into a rage! He raised his fox claws and went to settle the score with those people. He might be a little silly, but only his master was allowed to fool him!
