The First Wicked Wife of the Court

After being reborn from drowning, the chivalrous thief Li Qiqi becomes Li Qiqi, the daughter of an official. Her enemy, the head of the Embroidered Guard, comes to her door and forces her into marriage. A woman who doesn’t avenge herself isn’t a woman! She’s wicked, and she’s proud! She’ll marry her enemy, torment him and his whole family, and even torment his lover and benefactor, the emperor! She tosses the virtues of a good wife and mother into the latrine. Fighting evil with evil is just too much fun! She’ll dress up as a ghost in her in-laws’ home in the middle of the night and scare them half to death. She carries a cat fiercer than a tiger, and a meat-eating myna perches on her shoulder. Anyone who messes with her gets the cat and the bird! The emperor, you say!? My husband, you say!? Taking bribes and bullying women, is that what you do? What, you leaked your enemy-husband’s whereabouts and nearly got him killed? It’s no fun causing trouble alone. Everyone should join in! Qiqi: “Your Majesty, don’t look at your humble subject’s wife with that twitching stare. I’m only a legend.” The Emperor: “Madam Yan, even I’m afraid of your devil of a husband. I need to request asylum!” Qiqi: “Oh, my husband, I’m so glad you’re all right. I’ve already boiled a whole bucket of salt water to clean your wounds.” Yan Wang: “You’re disappointed to see that I’m still alive.” Qiqi: “Oh, my husband, when did we become such a loving, understanding couple?” Yan Wang: “Let’s go home. Once you’ve washed up tonight, we’ll consummate our marriage.” The Empress: “Carry on. I’m just here to watch.” The Emperor: “Empress, Lord Yan has fallen for someone else. I’ve been abandoned.” The Princess: “Brother Yan, how can a wicked woman like her be your wife?” Yan Wang: “I’m proud to have such a wicked wife!” The Noble Consort: “I want Li Qiqi dead.” The Prince: “Enough talk. I’m staging a coup now.” Everyone: “If you’re looking to get yourself killed, go die somewhere else.” This is a one-couple romance with a powerful hero and heroine, lots of scenes together, and neither has been with anyone else!
