The work is based on science fiction and explores the nature of "symbiosis" - when the star-ring creatures launch the "Final Plan" to strangle the natural symbionts, the vine lines on Chen Mo's palm are not only the mark of doomsday, but also the seed of hope for reconciliation between mankind and the world.
