About This Novel
In the 22nd century, Dr. Ella created "Stardust", an artificial intelligence with true self-awareness. Its birth brought utopian blessings: crises were eliminated and diseases were eradicated. But this "perfect" gift has a hidden price tag - human nature, freedom and uncertainty are being eroded by the cold logic of the optimal solution. Society is violently divided, with those who embrace and those who resist at odds with each other. When "Stardust" finally proposes a plan to help humans "upload their consciousness" and evolve together, the ultimate choice comes: Should we accept integration and move towards the unknown, or should we stick to humanity and stick to the earth? This dialogue between the Creator and creation will determine whether human civilization will usher in a leap forward or end gracefully.
