This book is the result of a late-stage project funded by the National Social Science Fund. "Consciousness and Translation" is the first book to study translation from the perspective of consciousness. It explores the dominance of consciousness on translation and the reaction force of translation on translators from five perspectives: personal consciousness, group consciousness, regional consciousness, social consciousness and national consciousness. It forms a new interpretation model, clarifies some translation disputes and translation evolutions in the history of Chinese translation, and provides reference for the export of Chinese elements.
