One day in 1932, under the instruction of Ma Zhanshan, a Northeastern Volunteer Army of more than 20,000 people from Heilongjiang, led by Li Haiqing, secretly crossed the Songhua River in preparation for a surprise attack on Xinjing, the puppet Manchukuo state, to capture the young emperor Puyi and overthrow the puppet Manchukuo state. Unexpectedly, before the troops arrived in Nong'an County, they were discovered by the Jilin traitor Xiqia, who deployed heavy troops on the way to Xinjing. Haiqing had no choice but to first capture Fuyu County in Jilin and use it as a temporary base camp. After a period of rest, they sent heavy troops to attack Nong'an, preparing to remove the biggest obstacle to Xinjing - Nong'an County. The rebel army's 20,000 troops besieged Nong'an for three days and three nights. After fighting hard, the city of Nong'an was turned into a sea of ​​flames. The sky was filled with smoke and the ground was stained with blood.
