This is a collection of prose that is pure, light, full of life juice, and shining with the light of thought. This book mainly focuses on the tortuous experiences of two generations of private entrepreneurs in the Yangtze River Basin, Gao Yuntian, Zheng Yongxin, Tang Shengfa, Gao Yuanbo and others, who entered the market to run businesses. It presents the contributions made by China's township enterprises and the private economy in the process of China's social and economic development during the forty years of reform and opening up, the ups and downs they experienced, the difficulties and challenges they faced, and the confidence and courage they displayed. Under the majestic waves, there are turbulent undercurrents; when you are wandering and confused, the sunshine is still there. Where there are feet, there is a road; only those who dare to ride the tide have the opportunity to write the legend of the times with their life and youth, breaking through the waves of the river and the sea.

In the area south of our city, old houses are densely packed, like the piles of ashes left after burning straw in the fields on the outskirts of the city. But our family is an exception. Lilac reached out and fished out a white dog from the cardboard box beside the balcony. Ding Xiang is a Chinese teacher at No. 1 Middle School in the city. She is a thin and short woman in her forties wearing a mulberry red thin woolen skirt. From behind, she can look like she is ten years old. That woolen skirt is quite old, it must be more than seven years old. She remembers wearing this dress to welcome three classes of students. From the first year to the third year of high school, she wore two skirts for each class. During class, the students still looked at it with curious eyes. The students changed, but the clothes did not change, so she was calm and unfazed in front of the constantly refreshing students, and went to put on her mulberry red as usual every autumn. Her husband Chuan Pu once laughed maliciously at her mulberry red dress and said, "It seems that there are no armors in the mountains, but in fact there are thousands of years in the world." The dog is a puppy with white hair. It is only one week old and was given to me by my friend Ma Lian.
