Lilac reached out and fished out a white dog from the cardboard box beside the balcony. Ding Xiang is a Chinese teacher at No. 1 Middle School in the city. That woolen skirt is quite old, it must be more than seven years old. She remembers wearing this dress to welcome three classes of students.
