Wang Zuoliang
Mr. Wang Zuoliang is a famous scholar in my country in the 20th century. He has made outstanding achievements in many research fields, one of which is comparative literature. This collection of essays selects 15 papers by Mr. Wang on comparative literature, divided into two parts. The eight articles in the first part "On Fit" mainly study the relationship between Chinese and Western literature in the 20th century, especially modernism in new Chinese poetry. The second part contains 7 articles by Mr. Wang discussing translation, including comparisons and evaluations of translators, review and analysis of modern translation theories, and anatomy of the relationship between language and culture in translation.
