Appreciation of Mao Zedong's Poems
Literature毛泽东诗词赏析
Wang Peng
In modern China, which suffered from internal and external troubles, the tenacious Chinese people finally stood firm in the east of the world after hundreds of years of struggle. Mao Zedong's poems are the battle cry for the Chinese people to fight against aggression, oppression, and fight for freedom and equality. They are also the battle hymn for the Chinese nation to stand on its own among the nations of the world, work hard, and move to the forefront of the world. His poetry can be said to be a microcosm of the Chinese revolution in the 20th century and a treasure in the treasure house of Chinese literature. In view of this, we have compiled this "Appreciation of Mao Zedong's Poems". This book contains 62 poems and nearly 30 poems and handwritings written by Mao Zedong. Most of these poems or handwritings were officially published with Mao Zedong's consent during his lifetime. Although a few works were not published during his lifetime, they were officially published by publishing departments such as the People's Publishing House and the Central Literature Publishing House after his death. This makes the poems and handwriting included in this book not only very reliable, but also authoritative.

边缘者的吟唱:以A.T.何巴特为中心的中国叙事
Wang Peng
In the first half of the 20th century, a rather positive image of China emerged in American literature, and a group of American female writers who had lived in China made outstanding contributions to this end. In addition to the well-known Pearl Buck, A. T. Hobart is also one of the more popular ones. Focusing on A. T. Hobart, this book examines her literary creation in three different periods when she first arrived in China, experienced the Nanjing Incident, and returned to the United States. It explores this female writer's deep thinking on the times and civilization from the perspectives of immigration, gender, and marginalized people. Her observations of old China and reflections on American culture will also have certain reference value for modern readers.

中国当代文学评奖制度研究:以全国性小说评奖为核心
Wang Peng
This monograph is mainly based on Escarpi's "Literary Sociology", Foucault's "Archaeology of Knowledge", and Bourdieu's "Field Theory". With the attitude of "returning to the historical scene", on the basis of in-depth excavation of historical materials of awards and theoretical speculation, it extends its research horizons to the literary award activities of the entire 20th century. It not only fills many academic gaps in the study of the "historical origins" of contemporary Chinese literary awards, but also questions the existing consensus in the academic community. Theoretical errors were "corrected"; it not only conducted a panoramic examination of the establishment, evolution, and revision of the Chinese contemporary literary award system with the national novel award as its core, but also conducted a constructive study of the mutual game and ebb and flow of various forces in the literary field that were highlighted behind this change. At the same time, it also provided necessary theoretical analysis of the leading principles, aesthetic biases, and institutional flaws of the Chinese contemporary literary award that were formed as a result.
