The May 7th Cadre School is the product of China's special historical period. Since 1968, 106 ministries and commissions, including the General Office of the Central Committee and the State Council, have decentralized the May 7th Cadre School. Various colleges, academics, and literary and artistic institutions have established provincial and local cadre schools one after another. A large number of experts, scholars, and leading cadres have been decentralized to the cadre school. The May 7th Cadre School has existed for a total of 11 years. This book interprets more than 20 important cadre school personnel, including Li Na, Zhang Zhixin, Fan Changjiang, and Qian Zhongshu, and nine representative important cadre schools, including the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It also analyzes the phenomenon of cadre schools from the perspectives of exile, separation, and comparison with "anti-rightism."
