This book is the first domestic monograph on comparative literature thematics. It follows the spirit of the key textbooks for Marxist theoretical research and construction projects, strives to combine theoretical framework with practical research, respects "original history", "original classics" and "principles", and comprehensively constructs comparative literature thematics in the Chinese context.

"History of Chinese Translated Literature" begins in 1896 and ends in 2003. It is currently the longest and most comprehensive general history of translated literature in China. "History of Chinese Translated Literature" takes literary translation as the main line and sorts out the evolution of the Chinese translation industry in modern times. Pay extensive attention to the latest achievements of translated literature, put them into the historical framework, and find the accurate positioning and significance of translated literature in the Chinese literary world over the past hundred years.
