In 1943, tea farmers Pan Laohan and Pan Chunmiao, their father and daughter, transported a shipload of Liubao tea from the ancient tea ship route to Wuzhou City. Unexpectedly, Pan Chunmiao was betrayed by the traitor Zhang Jiucheng when she met with her fiancé, guerrilla leader Liu Longping. Later, Pan Laohan and Liu Longping's father, tea merchant Liu Fuyuan, were captured by the Japanese. In order to rescue Old Man Pan, the guerrillas attacked a tea party held by the Japanese.
