This book is a classroom record of the public elective course "Classical Masterpieces and Contemporary China" at Jilin University. Nine scholars from different disciplines in the field of humanities and social sciences have provided detailed, in-depth and interesting interpretations of Chinese classical masterpieces represented by the Four Great Masters from their own unique perspectives. Their interpretation is an interesting and meaningful attempt.
