Goodbye Chen
Lu Aijun came to Shenzhen, and his classmate Luo Daqiang drove a truck to pick him up at Xixiang Passenger Terminal. They were classmates in elementary school. Luo Daqiang dropped out of elementary school after six years, and now opened a scrap collection station in Xixiang and worked as a small boss; Lu Aijun continued to study, and by the time he reached high school, he was already overwhelmed by math and had a headache from mathematics, but his father would not let him drop out of school. Lu Aijun's father is Lu Dayong. Lu Dayong said: "I want to go out to work at such a young age. Do you think I have never worked? When I was working in Shenzhen, you were not even a shit..." His father always kept talking further and further. Lu Aijun annoyed him more than math. Instead of annoying his father at home, it would be better to bother him with math at school.

Goodbye Chen
The novel uses the growth of Shan Qinghai, a young man with a simple heart, kindness and ignorance, as a clue to string together six independent but interrelated social cases: "The Story of Bean Juice", "The Story of Fear of Light", "The Story of Escape", "The Story of Infiltration", "The Story of Gunshots" and "The Story of Matricide". The story takes "escape-return" as the main line and is fan-shaped. It radiates other characters and stories, tells the incredible destiny and life in the process of growing up, expresses people's helplessness in reality, and spiritual salvation, and expresses thoughts on human nature through the characters, panoramically expressing the life style of this era, and showing the vastness and diversity of contemporary life. Six intrinsically related stories, that is, six cases with different reasons, intersect in time and space, and represent six different ways of living and destiny of people in the current society. The focus of the work is not on the complex narrative of the case itself, nor on the pretense of mystery, but on the description of the characters' psychological twilight and the strangeness of life's destiny.
