In 1997, two police detectives, Chen Bing and Li Dongyuan, were sent to investigate a bizarre murder in Lampang, northern Thailand. During the investigation of the case, they felt that there was an invisible force behind the case, pushing them into a deeper puzzle. The truth gradually revealed a complex and difficult-to-look-at face. In 2012, the two reunited again after not seeing each other for a long time.
