It is believed that the revolver was invented by American Samuel Colt in 1835. This revolver is a percussion-fired revolver and uses a 10.16 Mm paper cartridge with a conical warhead. It is almost the same as a modern revolver. For this reason, many history books call Colt the "father of the revolver." Revolvers are loaded manually, and after the bullet is empty, the shell must be ejected or reloaded. There are three ways to push the runner out of the frame. The most commonly used is the runner swing-out method, which means swinging the runner to the left. Due to its simple structure and flexible operation, revolvers were quickly loved by officers and soldiers from all over the world. After the mid-19th century, this gun became popular all over the world, and many officers were proud to own a revolver. Some countries also use revolvers as close-range self-defense weapons for the army.

Navy ships are usually divided into combat ships, landing combat ships and service ships. Combat ships are ships equipped with special weapons and directly engaged in naval combat, including surface combat ships and submarines. Surface combat ships perform surface combat missions. According to their different basic tasks, they are divided into different ship types, including aircraft carriers, battleships, cruisers, destroyers, frigates, torpedo boats, missile boats, submarine hunters, minelayers, mine countermeasures ships and landing ships. Within the same ship type, they are divided into different ship classes according to their displacement and weapons and equipment, such as the United States' "Nimitz" class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Soviet Union's "Kala" class guided missile cruiser, etc.
