Zebra was born into an ancient and frequently persecuted literary family in Iran. When he was five years old, his family fled the war and witnessed his mother's death on the way. The father taught the Zebra family literary memories to fight against grief. The two moved to many places and found a place to stay in New York. The long wandering consumed his father's health. When his father was buried, the sunlight fell through the branches and formed stripes on the coffin. The zebra gave itself a new name after this.
