About This Novel

Zebra was born into an ancient and frequently persecuted literary family in Iran. When he was five years old, his family fled the war and witnessed his mother's death on the way. The father taught the Zebra family literary memories to fight against grief. The two moved to many places and found a place to stay in New York. The long wandering consumed his father's health. When his father was buried, the sunlight fell through the branches and formed stripes on the coffin. The zebra gave itself a new name after this. The death of his parents left Zebra feeling emptied in his heart. He decided to go back to the wandering route of his childhood and heal his past by re-tasting the pain. Books are a zebra's companion - until she meets an Italian man named Ludo. Years of wandering and loneliness have made Zebra hide in the solid walls of literature, fearing love and repeatedly pushing away people around him. Where will the eternal wandering eventually lead?
