This collection of short stories comes from 8 short stories published by Renjo Mikihiko in the magazine "ALL Reading" from 2000 to 2009. Among them, "The Little Foreigner" was Liancheng's last short story in his career. It was published in the same year that he suffered from gastric cancer and shocked the Japanese literary world.
