I record BG stories (including original and fan fiction) set in the Japanese background. I prefer ancient Japan and the last century, mainly because the Japanese atmosphere is sufficient.
Inuyasha Naraku fanfic. It can be regarded as one of the top Naraku fanfics. The heroine travels back to Japan's Warring States Period. Basically, this author's fanfics are quite good, the writing style is passable, and the writing style has a touch of warmth and healing.
My favorite fanfic by Fumino Dazai, the heroine is not a big heroine, but an ordinary person with low self-esteem. She traveled to Yokohama, Japan and became a yakuza. The description of the process of the heroine silently falling in love with the hero is full of sourness (but also a hint of sweetness), and the process of Dazai's falling in love is also very real, and the emotional line between the two is written in a super delicate and touching way.
I highly recommend the story of Princess Kaguya of Long Moon Castle in Chapters 84 to 104. The background is set in Yukaku, Japan. The heroine is an oiran, and the story that takes place with the city lord, the young lord of the city, the swordsman and others is a very spiritual story.
Ranpo is a novel about humanities. Personally, I think it is the best book to create the image of Ranpo. It is non-romantic and focuses on daily healing and family love. Overall, this author's jokes are really good, especially many of them are based on ancient Japan.
However, the emotional line is extremely bland and boring, and it doesn't feel like it was seriously portrayed.
For example, an article from a Japanese Otome light novel (or an Otome game) has multiple routes in the novel (similar to an Otome game). In many routes, the images of the female protagonist and the male protagonist are very vivid, and there is basically no text that replaces meals. But the original character of the heroine is really annoying, and she was really a standard vicious female supporting character in her previous life.
I like it very much. The heroine travels back in time to the Tokyo of the last century and experiences the Japan of that era. It mainly writes about daily life in Japan, and there are relatively few writing about this kind of subject matter.
When it comes to demining, the author is very knowledgeable, so proceed with caution.
Japanese entertainment novel, set in Japan in the 1970s and 1980s. The plot is good, but the author still has the same problem. The writing style is too flat and the content of the novel is very blunt.
The heroine travels through different books, and the emotional lines in different worlds are quite easy to relate to. The first male protagonist in the world is Osamu Dazai in history, and he has quite a flavor during this period. There are also many niche worlds such as Greek mythology, Indian mythology, and The Legend of the Condor Heroes (Guofu CP), which are all relatively new. (But sometimes the articles are too literary and the descriptions are too suspended.)
InuYasha fanfic, the male protagonist is Naraku. Personally, this is the top Naraku fanfic. The author is really good at writing the emotional flow between the male and female protagonists, and the plot line is also well written. Especially in the second half, the relationship between the heroine and Naraku is sweet but not greasy. Personally, I really like the flavor descriptions of ancient Japan.
Rare Japanese entertainment articles (free long articles). This is a somewhat sour article. The emotional lines between the heroine and the male protagonists are very delicate, and you can also see the growth of the heroine along the way. The author has also written other Japanese entertainment articles, all of which are quite interesting.
