The story is very exciting and the setting is interesting.
(But personally I don't like long sections of self-analysis by characters, or describing what kind of person character B is through character A's mouth. Of course, this is just personal taste and does not affect the excitement of the story.)
Every magic show is a surprise, as if you are there, and the reading experience is really great. The emotional lines are smooth and come naturally (even though I am a total career fan). Some people may feel uncomfortable with the setting of the protagonist's original body being taken away from him, but it's not much written on, so those who don't care much can stick with it.
