The world was once divided into seven realms: the Divine, Immortal, Human, Demon, Monster, Ghost, and Underworld Realms. But a war destroyed the Divine Realm and affected the other six. They each withdrew to recover. The few divine officials who survived founded sects in the Immortal Realm to train new talent. The Immortal Realm says the Demon God's forces destroyed the Divine Realm, and that the Immortal and Demon Realms are sworn enemies. But was it really the Demon God who destroyed the Divine Realm?
Perhaps several hundred years later, Lou Xuanxian (bottom), son of the divine official Lou Lizhi and young master of the Immortal Realm's foremost sect, the Qianling Sect, was injured and fell unconscious while on a mission in the Monster Realm. When he awoke, he saw a white-haired man dressed in black: his savior, Yan Mujiu (top), son of the Demon God. Perhaps it was fate, or perhaps the Heavenly Dao's mischief. They stood on opposing sides and had different things to protect, yet they always stayed true to themselves.
They tested one another, cared for one another, fell in love, understood one another, and accepted one another.
Together, they seek the truth about the past and face the challenges of the present.
