After Breaking Up with My Gentle Husband

A seemingly gentle but actually jealous, domineering husband x a beautiful, pampered wife

After I asked my gentle husband for a divorce, he stopped pretending 💛

The young master of the Ji family had been married to her husband by agreement for a year. After the wedding, they treated each other with polite respect. Everyone said it was a perfect arrangement.

Xie Qingrang was exactly Ji Li's type, and he was gentle and considerate. Every morning, he made breakfast; every evening, he ran a bath for Ji Li, taking such good care of him that Ji Li had only to reach out for clothes or open his mouth for food.

But having a husband who was too polite wasn't a good thing, either. Ji Li wanted a taste of adult life, too.

But he found it too embarrassing to say.

They might as well get divorced.

-

But Ji Li never expected

that after he asked for a divorce, his usually gentle husband would turn out to be so wicked.

In the kitchen,

Xie Qingrang was cooking with an apron on. From inside came the wet, sticky sounds of kissing.

Ji Li kicked the man in the shoulder, tears hanging from his long lashes.

He never expected

that his husband wouldn't be polite in the slightest, and would give him the adult life he wanted.

*Little Scene

After getting jealous, Xie Qingrang would still pretend to be pitiful and quietly hug his wife.

Wife: All right, it's not your fault.

Then he'd turn around and brag to his romantic rival: "My wife bit me here. Have you got one?"

*

Before asking for a divorce, Ji Li would come home late after going out to eat with someone else, and his husband wouldn't say a word.

After he asked for a divorce:

Xie Qingrang: I kind of ship you two.

I started this story a while ago, so I'm picking it up again.

Both leads have no prior partners, one-on-one romance, each other's first love.
