Xian Wuyan and Bai Wuling, training far away in the mountains, receive a message from their sect by carrier pigeon, drawing them into a web of mysteries.
First, Bai Wuling inexplicably falls into a brothel, then disappears.
With the help of the kind-hearted little immortal Ming Rixiang, they return to their sect, but Ming Rixiang and Yu Youlian are left unconscious and beyond help.
Within the Twin Ghosts' barrier, Xian Wuyan sees the Bai Wuling she has longed for. Gone is the bewitching, alluring look she wore in the brothel that day. Instead, dressed all in white, she seems serene and detached. She says to Xian Wuyan, "You finally came..."
Wait and see next time. . . .
