[Main story complete]
There's a new work in my collection of upcoming stories, starring Nezha. I have two ideas, so if you're interested, take a look. Let me know in the comments which one you'd rather read, and please add it to your favorites.
This story will go premium on the 24th, starting with Chapter 32, and I'll post three chapters to celebrate. Thank you for your support.
I recommend buying one chapter at a time, so you can cut your losses if you don't like it.
The bonus chapters were locked due to their subject matter, so I've started a new story in my collection: bonus chapters for The Legend of Luo Xiaohei.
[Started writing on a whim because I love Xiaoyu so much. I couldn't help writing this story for myself. The overall tone leans toward kid-friendly everyday life and family fun.]
Also known as Xiaoyu's Adventures
Xiaoyu accidentally stumbled into the world of demons. She managed to steal the Eighth Gate and escape, but the moment she opened it, she didn't return to Uncle Long. Instead, she found herself in an unfamiliar city.
While waiting to get home, she goes through a series of adventures in Gotham. Clever and brave as ever, Xiaoyu embarks on another adventure in Gotham.
When Uncle finally manages to pinpoint her location, he has bad news for Xiaoyu: a wave of dark qi is approaching the world she's in. The Eight Great Demons are planning to start over in another world and try to rule it.
Uncle tells Xiaoyu, "We don't have all the materials yet, and the passage isn't stable. You need to find somewhere safe to stay for now. Once the dark qi gets closer, the passage will stabilize, and we'll be able to bring the tools over."
Jackie Chan tells Xiaoyu, "Take care of yourself, Xiaoyu. We'll get there as soon as we can. Remember, don't go on any adventures by yourself."
Xiaoyu makes good friends in Gotham and forms the Dragon Team.
But before her adventure is even halfway through, Batman sends her off to elementary school.
That won't stop Xiaoyu, though. The hell-difficulty mission "Keep an Eye on Xiaoyu" has begun. Who will manage to complete it? Stay tuned!
About the issue of Xiaoyu helping Jason and making him OOC, here's what I think.
It's like a family with a second child. Jason doesn't know why Tim showed up. He thinks he was abandoned, that no one cared about him, and that he was quickly replaced. Based on what Jason tells her, Xiaoyu might think there's more to the story, but Jason is on the verge of breaking down if he doesn't let it out, so Xiaoyu wants to help. Besides, she knows Jason has a sense of where to draw the line. They're family, after all.
In my headcanon, Xiaoyu had all twelve talismans with her at the time.
Please don't nitpick the timeline!
It's been so long that my memory's fuzzy. I've been looking things up lately and rewatching bits and pieces.
Any OOC is on me.
I love every character.
If anyone's OOC, that's my fault. Feel free to click the back button in the upper left at any time.
After the story is complete, I'll slowly fix the typos. Thanks to everyone who helps catch them!
Theme: Be brave, upright, and kind.
Ximu is not serious at all.
Hahahaha, when I saw the word "Ice and Snow Base", I thought it was Superman's Fortress of Solitude.
If you think about it carefully, except for Sheriff Blake, the rest of the Dragon Team are all people of color or ethnic minorities. Jackie Chan's father Xiaoyu is from a flower-growing family, True is a neon person, and Ox Warrior is Mexican. Little Snake is said to be American on Baidu Encyclopedia, but it feels more like Latino (just a guess, I will delete it if it is wrong)
?? Xiyu, take a sip quietly [make me healthy]
Why is the Justice League so weak? I don't feel like I have any presence
Ximu is wondering why Xiaoyu opened the passage 🐶
Isn't Tim still Robin now??? Why is there a section in the middle where Dick talks and says that Red Robin and T-Girl are missing???
Wow, can you see Martha and Thomas by using the sheep charm in Wayne Manor? [Glasses]
I have read all the chapters now, and they are generally good. I used to like Xiaoyu very much, and I feel that her character is not OOC, but some plots always feel a bit awkward, and I feel a bit stereotyped + the characters are flat. The plot is very attractive to me, and I hope that the subsequent chapters will be better.
Xiaoyu Xiaoyu we like you
