Synopsis:
On a stormy night, nine-year-old Zhang Jincheng was brought by his mother to the Xie family's mansion.
His soaked shoes dirtied the gleaming marble floor. He looked up and saw a boy on the stairs:
Xie Wangyan stood there like an ink painting that should never be touched.
"This is your older brother," his mother urged him.
Zhang Jincheng clenched his teeth and bit down hard when Xie Wangyan reached out.
But the boy only wiped away the blood and wrapped him in a bath towel. "From now on, I'm your big brother."
Five years later, Xie Wangyan left to study abroad, and Zhang Jincheng kissed him by force at the airport.
"I'll wait for you to come back."
But 1,473 unanswered messages became a festering scar in the boy's heart.
When twenty-three-year-old Xie Wangyan finally returned home, he was greeted by:
a strange four-year-old brother, parents who seemed to have something to say but held back,
and nineteen-year-old Zhang Jincheng,
the boy who once curled up in his arms, now with a predatory darkness churning in his eyes.
"Brother." Fingers reeking of smoke touched the mole at his neck. "This time, you can't get away."
