Sky Screen: I Am a Respectable Emperor

Zhou Yan was a transmigrator who had successfully risen to become the Emperor of Great Yan. With literary and military accomplishments, he had united the realm. He was the very picture of a winner in life. Until one day, a sky screen appeared over Great Yan and started spreading rumors. From then on, his reputation was never the same. Zhou Yan: I am a respectable man. I did not kill my father to take the throne, nor did I abandon my allies once they were no longer useful. I intend to enjoy a harmonious relationship with my ministers for the rest of our lives. You believe me, right? Ministers: Mm-hmm, absolutely! Zhou Yan: Don't just humor me. The sky screen is slandering me. You really have to believe me! Ministers: Heh. Sky Screen: Welcome to the following programs: [The Remarkable Rise of Taizong] [Emperor Wen: The Tangle of Military Might and Martial Virtue] [Uncovering the General's Grievances and Injustices] [The Emperor's Daily Fact-Checking] Please Read Beforehand: 1. Limited writing and historical knowledge, and I know very little about political intrigue. Please prepare yourself. 2. An alternate dynasty with a mishmash of settings throughout. 3. A wish-fulfillment novel. Don't scrutinize the logic. 4. The sky screen's commentary is objective, but history can become distorted as it is retold. Ministers and the emperor experienced events firsthand, but will favor their own perspectives. Don't believe any side completely. Theme: Stay true to yourself and don't let outside influences sway you.
