The main story is complete. The whole book costs less than half a cup of milk tea. Thank you all for your support!
[Please add my upcoming new book to your reading list. The blurb is below, and the complete manuscript is already in progress.]
After waking up, thirty-two-year-old Gu Zhiqiu found herself back in 2008, in the summer when she was sixteen.
Back then, QQ messages chimed nonstop, Jay Chou's songs echoed through every street, and she held the answers to her own fate.
This time, her goals were clear and specific:
1. Practice! Practice! Practice! Get into the university that once seemed impossibly out of reach.
2. Mend her relationship with her family and be there for her parents, so she wouldn't have to live with the regret of wanting to care for them after it was too late.
3. Treasure her friendships and head toward their own shining futures with her closest friends.
As for romance? Men would only slow down her studying.
But Shi Yue, who in her previous life had been as close to her as three people apart in a group photo, was looking at her in an increasingly strange way.
He handed her a notebook full of detailed explanations. "I put it together while I was at it." (One notebook is better than six.)
She thanked him, but he said, "There are some things I want to tell you after the college entrance exam."
[Focused on studying, yet unlocks an irresistible charm for top students: coolheaded girl × seemingly aloof, secretly brokenhearted, pure-hearted genius: max-level academic god]
Reading Guide:
1. An ensemble story. The early focus is on school, family, and friendship, with romance taking center stage later.
2. The female lead is reborn and works hard to turn her life around. There is no golden finger. Everything she wants takes hard work.
3. The pacing is fairly slow, and the story is quite down-to-earth.
4. Please add my second upcoming novel to your reading list: the period drama Back to the Eighties to Save the Villain and Become a Tycoon. The blurb is below (it's still being revised, and I'm working on the manuscript). Please add it to your list!
Ye Wen transmigrates into a period novel and becomes a cannon-fodder character with a tragic fate. With no family to turn to in this era, she pushes open the door of a cowshed at the end of the village during a snowstorm, hoping to improve her chances of survival. Inside is a boy, huddled up and glaring like a wild dog: Jiang Hai, the future villainous big shot from the book.
In the original story, Jiang Hai's life is full of hardship and his temperament is dark and twisted. He loses spectacularly in his battle of wits with the male lead, then takes his own life at a young age.
But Ye Wen sees a boy who has nothing, yet manages to fight the male lead, who has the protagonist's halo, to a near-draw through sheer effort, only losing in the end. Ye Wen reaches out and gives him a warm steamed bun. She thinks it's just an "angel investment": once he makes it big, she'll reap the rewards. She never expects the quiet boy to make her his only faith.
Later, an accident leaves them on the brink of death. Jiang Hai saves Ye Wen without a scratch by sacrificing his right hand, which is as precious to him as his life. In his hospital bed, he looks at his twisted, ruined hand and loses his temper with her for the first time. His eyes red, he orders her to leave. "Get out! I'm crippled now!"
Always the rational one, Ye Wen uses marriage to bind this man, who is determined to die. She pins him to the hospital bed and slaps down a marriage application, specially approved for the sake of a visa, on his chest. "Since you've had feelings for me for a long time, stop being difficult. It's settled: we're getting married."
[Bonus Scene]
Years later, Jiang Hai is a leading figure in his industry. Everyone says Mr. Jiang is aloof, abstinent, and never smiles. Only Ye Wen knows how wild he is underneath.
On countless late nights, he holds her slender waist tightly from behind. His once-injured right hand roams greedily and shamelessly over her skin. He buries his face in the crook of her neck, his hot breath brushing her ear as he speaks with possessive intensity:
"Wenwen, to be honest, when I lost the use of my hand, I was shamefully relieved. If that hand hadn't been ruined, how would the moon in the sky ever have fallen into this pit of mud? Now that you've fallen in... I'll cling to you for this life and the next."
[Reading Guide]:
1. Clearheaded, self-interested female lead × gloomy, insecure, obsessive, devoted puppy
2. The female lead focuses on making money and building her career; the male lead focuses on technology and winning himself over.
3. The male lead is faithful, in body and heart, to her alone. He's gloomy and obsessive, but absolutely loyal to the female lead.
Theme: If you could start over, what kind of life would you choose?
This is only the first chapter. There are really too many scenes in Shiyue.
""Then when you come back..." This is a big bug for the author~ Appointment?
"The opposite was done by Gu Zhiqiu in the end..." This is a big bug for the author~ It should be "at that time"
"The floodgates of memory suddenly opened,..." This is a big bug for the author~ and
"Gu Zhiqiu's sharp tinnitus..." Caught a big bug in the author~ Outside inside... Outside?
It feels like the heroine is an adult and has returned to sixteen years old. Apart from her studies and family, nothing has changed. It's a bit strange that she can have a relationship with a high school student, haha, but then I thought about it, and I like handsome guys no matter what stage they are in. And what can I change if I go back to sixteen years old? It's just to study hard and love my parents. The heroine is already great hehe. Love to watch
"The kindness of the grade group" is a big bug for the author~
