I Was Romanced After Entering a Farming Game

The top and bottom both get transported into a farming game. The top is bound to a career System and has to earn enough money to go home. The bottom is bound to a romance System and has to max out the top's affection for him to go home.

They play the game together, but neither can reveal anything about their Systems. The top is a veteran player who farms from six in the morning until two at night every day. The bottom has never played a game before, so he can only help the top farm while figuring out the System's beginner tutorial: learn what gifts he likes, help him complete his quests, and pet the farm animals for him.

In short, if he wants to go home, the bottom has to give it his all.

The top farms, and the bottom waters the crops. The top goes mining, and the bottom finds rare gems to give him. The top raises chickens and cows, and the bottom mows the grass and pets them.

Surely all that should raise his affection, right? The bottom checks, only to find it's still at zero.

...So what does it take to raise his affection!? At his wit's end, the bottom finally confesses to the top outright.

Top: ...Did you collect today's wine?

Bottom: ...?

Top: You're trying to date me before we've even collected the wine!?

1. A straight, money-obsessed, curly-haired puppy of a top x a financial hotshot bottom who starts out pretending but falls for real. The top is slow on the uptake, and the bottom comes around.

2. The top is a curly-haired puppy adored by everyone, equally affectionate with everybody, and oblivious to all the crushes pointed his way.

3. A slow-burn farming story with steady progression. The farming game draws on elements from games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon.

4. The title means the top is the one who gets romanced in the end, though the process is pretty arduous. (?▽`)

Theme: Work hard and strive.
