Stealing Someone Else's Beauty

The royal family recently uncovered a long-buried case. It turned out the current legitimate princess was not born to the emperor and empress, but was a child brought back from the countryside. The true royal heir had been lost among the common folk, and was a man.

When the Court of Judicial Review found the switched-at-birth prince, he was locked in prison, eating his last meal before execution. His crime was harassing the crown prince's future bride.

When Tan Yuzhi first met Qi Sifei, he declared that he would marry her, and was promptly thrown into prison. Everyone laughed at him for dreaming the impossible.

Later, the Tan family was found guilty, and the crown prince personally sent his future father-in-law's family into the abyss, sentencing them all to death.

Tan Yuzhi met Qi Sifei in the imperial prison. They talked privately for the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, and Shen Tingye finally got what he wanted and won his beloved.

He had gone mad the moment he saw this celebrated beauty of Wangjing, longing for her day and night until at last she was his.
