Yukishiro, also known as Zenin Tsuruya, was a member of one of the Three Great Families of the jujutsu world. Born with white hair, he was beautiful but sensitive to light. His eyes were a pale pink, rare but weak-sighted. The Zenin family wrote him off as a useless invalid who wouldn’t live long, issuing a critical-condition notice ten times a year. He suffered rejection and bullying at every turn, enduring one hardship after another.

But after yet another cursed-energy rampage, he dragged his frail, broken body out and wiped out half the Zenin family. The current head, Zenin Naobito, respectfully invited him to take his place. From then on, he became the family’s undisputed leader.

Of course, he was the secret, behind-the-scenes version.

Yukishiro Tsuruya (“sheathe the blade”) (smiling):

“Heh. If only you’d been this perceptive sooner. What a hassle.”

Just when he thought he could finally enjoy a carefree life, skipping class, going shopping, stealing the loving snacks his friends brought him, and calmly waiting to die, the System that had suddenly appeared in his mind stared at the “nannies” coming and going around him and spoke in a low voice:

“Host? …Do you know all your friends are going to die?”

At first, Yukishiro Tsuruya took this path just to save his friends, who seemed to have a death wish. But as he kept saving them, he realized that although their vitality burned as brightly as a cockroach’s, their lives were nowhere near as durable.

Even if he saved them this time, they would still fight toward their deaths the next time, all for some bond, ideal, or noble cause.

* Primarily a crossover between Jujutsu Kaisen and Detective Conan. The System appears in the middle-to-late story; the opening is slow-paced.
