The demon Bai Renxin was suddenly forced by the leader of the demon clan to go to the Ghost Realm.
Since ancient times, the Ghost Realm had been ruled by evil spirits, a place of extreme danger. But the mission the demon clan assigned her wasn't to kill ghosts. It was to go to the Ghost Realm and...

Bai Renxin froze on the spot. No, what was that supposed to mean? Fine, she wasn't being sent to kill ghosts, but they wanted her to farm in the wilderness of the Ghost Realm...?
Didn't ghosts all like eating one another? Was there any point in farming?
Never mind that. Bai Renxin hurled her mission order to the ground.
I don't even know how to farm!
The demon clan had thoughtfully prepared a solution. When she opened the huge bundle they had packed for her, she found a little booklet inside:

Below that was a line of tiny text:

Bai Renxin nearly tore the book apart.
They thought she was an idiot, did they?
Fine, she'd farm. She couldn't get back on her own anyway.
At this point, there was only one thing to do: get to work!
And so Bai Renxin hoisted a hoe and embarked on the hard-working life of a farmer.
The sun rose and set. It was an ordinary day, though not entirely uneventful.
After finishing her work, Bai Renxin returned to her room to rest and unexpectedly found a little ghost passed out inside.
The little ghost was barely conscious. He clung to her wrist and refused to let go, weeping uncontrollably and begging her not to abandon him.
No matter how hard Bai Renxin tried, she couldn't shake him off, so she took out a chain and locked him up for the time being.
Who would have thought that once the little ghost came to, he would rudely start provoking her again?
Bai Renxin's veins bulged. You little brat, you were playing me!
In that case, she took out a collar and put it around the little ghost's neck.
You're going to farm obediently for me.
