Yue Pingting has a superpower.
She can read minds, but there's one bug: she can't read Bian Dai's mind.
1
On a windy day, she meets a boy at a water park whose eyes are like icy amber. He's the only person whose mind she can't read.
Yue Pingting is a bit of a klutz. She touches his chest without noticing the darkness creeping into the boy's eyes and says:
“Don't you have a heart?”
To figure out what was behind this bug, she even wrote her girlish question in her notebook:
[Who took the Ice Prince's heart?]
2
Later, she falls in love with the Ice Prince. She is too young to understand love, so she cries whenever things go wrong.
They have a terrible fight. She drinks bottle after bottle of Snow beer to drown her sorrows, and eventually he scoops her up and takes her home. She falls asleep at once, still holding his hand, and murmurs as if in a dream, “Bian Bian... I like you so much. Can I give you my heart?”
Bian Dai watches her, his eyes reddening. “You already owe me a heart.”
3
Yue Pingting graduates from high school at eighteen, then spends two years building a business from scratch.
At twenty, she suddenly receives a marriage proposal from Bian Dai, who is twenty-two. And just like that, they become a young married couple.
To her, Bian Dai is cool and indifferent, the same toward everyone. Neither like nor dislike can stir the slightest ripple in his emotions.
Even being hated by him feels like an extravagant privilege.
All that changes one night, when he kisses her until she can barely breathe. As if they share a blood feud, he murmurs in her ear, “I hate you.”
“And I love you, too.”
4
Years later, Yue Pingting looks back on her life
and decides the stupidest thing she ever did was fall so hard for Bian Dai that she wrote him a poem.
[When I met you, a wind blew through my heart.]

Legend has it that a thousand years ago,
the ancient god Zhaohua gouged out the heart of her husband, Xuan Shu, the demon lord, to bring peace to the Four Seas, and held it up for all to see. Her divine power later faded, and she vanished from the world.
The history books record no details of the event, only that Zhaohua gouged out her husband's heart in the name of justice and was the coldest, most heartless of the ancient gods.
-
The Ancient Records of Time contains this account:
Zhaohua was the best at reading people's hearts. By looking into someone's eyes, she could discern their state of mind.
After gouging out her husband's heart and losing him, she was never enshrined among the gods and spent the rest of her life in hatred.
P.S.
* The mythology is fictional.
* This is not a traditional school romance. If you find it uncomfortable to read, please stop.
* Inspired by the song “Talent.”

Theme: Melt your iceberg into a lake
Chasing my wife fiercely, don't forgive too easily. Wuwu. The heroine thinks that it's because of what the hero has gone through. He was rejected several times because he was injured. Even if the heroine was really sorry for him in her previous life, she doesn't know anything now. From the heroine's perspective, everyone says she is wrong. She doesn't know where she is wrong, and they don't say it. It's so heartbreaking.
Wow, the male protagonist is a standard match for Crush. I love [Purple Sugar] and also like the female protagonist's cute little thoughts 😍.
Kaiwen Daji 🤩 Thank you to heaven, thank you to earth, and thank you for your hard work~
The male protagonist must be allowed to pursue the female protagonist. It makes me so angry. This male protagonist
Ah ah ah ah, it's so beautiful.
