All Three of My Consorts Want to Kill Me

Chen Baozhu is a princess, born to a lifetime of luxury and pampered by her father until she can do whatever she likes.

Her father can't bear to let her marry and suffer, so he selects three secondary husbands for her in Chang'an. The position of primary husband remains vacant, waiting for her to choose someone herself.

Chen Baozhu shyly glances at her three secondary husbands.

One is a gentle top scholar from a humble family.

One is a cheerful hostage prince from the distant Western Barbarians.

One is a taciturn warrior from a military family at court.

Each of the three dotes on Chen Baozhu and treasures her dearly.

Then one day, her father takes the empress, her elder brother, and Baozhu on a tour of the south. Baozhu's three betrothed husbands join forces in a rebellion and attempt to assassinate the emperor. Her elder brother fights desperately to protect Chen Baozhu as she escapes, and they end up stranded in the southern frontier.

Chen Baozhu: !!!

[All three of my betrothed husbands want to kill me]

[I need to find a fourth secondary husband and fight my way back!]

[I'm a princess. Give me something to eat, and I'll have my father grant you a title]

[If you won't, fine, but why insult me? How dare you pick on a princess!]

Xie Wuji grew up in the southern frontier, raised by an old gu healer. His cruelty and vicious ways have made him universally despised.

Then one day, he buys a brother and sister who were sold into a village, intending to use them as test subjects for his medicines.

The little girl begs him through her tears: "Don't eat me. My meat is so sour. Eat my imperial brother instead."

When she sees him kill someone with gu, she cuddles up to him and hugs his arm. "You're so amazing. Could you help me kill three enemies?"

Every night, she comes to tempt him: "Help me kill someone, and I'll give you a kiss."

Xie Wuji narrows his eyes at her. Her cheeks are round and soft, her lips pink and pouty. After a moment, he asks, "Who do you want killed?"
