Longing

At first, Luo Huan returns to this small city because she has nowhere else to go.

Later, she stays because her heart is tied to this place, and she can't bear to leave.

Luo Huan thought she would never return to this small city. But winter in a big city like Lingcheng was far too cold, and after waking up frozen several nights in a row, she bought a train ticket back.

Six months later, the one-year lease on her old rental was still in effect, so Luo Huan moved back in.

The apartment was still there, but the landlord had changed.

Luo Huan took one look at the handsome, single man next door and started wondering how to strike up a conversation. Then she thought about her situation and decided to give up.

As she stood on the balcony, lost in thought, her neighbor asked to borrow a lighter. She lent it to him out of kindness, then, remembering how broke she was, told him to return it as soon as he was done.

The man invited her to spend the night at his place. Only after she left the next morning did she learn that he was her new landlord.

After that, she kept running into the new landlord outside the apartment.

Luo Huan has a secret on her mind lately. After hesitating for a long time, she finally tells a friend.
