Short-tempered sunshine heroine x sharp-tongued, scheming hero
Liao Yuwei is a well-known raid leader in the game Song of a Thousand Years. She's famous for one thing: that fiery mouth of hers. If you miss a mechanic and lose damage, she'll chew you out. If you pull aggro and mess up your positioning, she'll chew you out. And if she runs into someone slacking in a dungeon, she'll give them a thorough scolding and teach them to behave and put in the work!
But even the best raid leader will have a hard time if she loses her regular teammates. What do you mean the team's top damage dealer is a high school girl preparing for the college entrance exams? And what do you mean another player is about to get married, is fighting with their partner, and is planning to take a break from the game?
Why? Am I not the "Most Popular Raid Leader"? Why are all my teammates leaving me?
For her teammates! For the raids! She decides to start recruiting new members in earnest!
But this new guy with the bubbly voice is great at dealing damage, so why does he always want to team up with her alone? If he didn't already have an in-game partner, Liao Yuwei would almost think he had a crush on her.
What?! The bubbly-voiced damage dealer's partner is his alt account?
Reader's Guide: 1. There are lots of personal additions. This is a keyboard-and-mouse online game.
2. It's mainly inspired by various MOMO games, both mobile and PC games I've played. You don't have to play games to enjoy the story.
3. 1v1. The heroine's ex was a platonic relationship; they only kissed once. Please skip this story if that bothers you. The hero is a devoted romantic, and the heroine is the only person he ever had a youthful crush on.
