The Butterfly Returns to Hong Kong

Jiang Xudie x Tan Yanxiu

Jiang Xudie was from the capital. While studying at the University of Hong Kong, her boyfriend of a year broke up with her.

She later learned that he had been cheating on her for a long time and had even spread rumors that she was the one who had been unfaithful.

Jiang Xudie could not let it go and wanted to find a chance to get back at the scumbag.

By chance, she learned that her ex's father's archenemy was none other than Tan Yanxiu, a celebrated figure in Hong Kong City.

Tan Yanxiu was a gentleman, refined and distinguished, and the most sought-after bachelor among Hong Kong City's wealthy young women.

Then, during a chance encounter, Mr. Tan treated her with exceptional care.

Jiang Xudie thought, wasn't this the perfect chance to get back at her ex?

After they got together, Tan Yanxiu treated her wonderfully, taking care of everything and even paving the way for her.

Once she had taken revenge on her ex, all she wanted was to slip away.

But it turns out it's easy to invite someone in and hard to get them to leave.

Tan Yanxiu looked at the glittering butterfly locked inside a cage made of special materials, seemingly warning her, "If a butterfly dares to dream of flying away, its wings will be broken."

He could overlook her original reason for approaching him, but he would never allow her to leave on her own. A Die belonged to him, Tan Yanxiu, and him alone.

If she was unwilling to stay by his side, he did not mind using any means necessary to keep her.
