Every ordinary person is lighting his own way
The core of "The Road of All Living Beings" is not "different paths lead to the same destination", but "each has its own destination": some people leave (the eldest sister has a stroke), some disperse (the second sister gets divorced), some stay (the second brother guards the land), and some change (Qi Qing becomes a city dweller).
No one's path is the "right answer", just like Duan Yingxiu became a writer without marrying Qi Qing; Li Tiedan seemed to have "won" the marriage, but he and Duan Yingxiu had to get along with each other in daily necessities; Duan Cangwa protected the family all his life, but in the end watched his children go their separate ways...
But it is these imperfect and unsatisfactory "roads" that constitute the true nature of life: all living beings are ordinary, and all living beings are trying to live. Their struggles, laughter, and tears are the most powerful annotations of "living" and also illuminate the endless hope of life in this land.
After all, "The Road of All Living Beings" is not about "the road", but about "the people walking on the road." They are like the wheat on the plains of eastern Henan, which wither and turn green every season. They seem ordinary, but in the wind and rain, they hold up the human fireworks of the Central Plains.
Purpose: Focus on the path of all living beings and tell everyone's story
