When Mi Sha was hunting down the forty-ninth target of her career, her period suddenly arrived.
A flash of blades, a glimmer of blood, and the world changed completely.
She discovered that she had transmigrated over a hundred years into the past, into the body of Quan Jiangchun. On the surface, she worked as a butcher with her mother, but behind her mother's back, she was an assassin.
What a coincidence. So was Mi Sha.
Mi Sha tried time and again to find a way back, but failed every time. Just as she resolved to live in Quan Jiangchun's place and fulfill her wish, her period came again. She returned to her own time and body, and discovered that she and Quan Jiangchun had been transmigrating into each other's bodies!
Quan Jiangchun, who had come to the modern era, not only helped her hide the truth from Mi Sha's mother, but also left her a note in her room.
Mi Sha suddenly found herself looking forward to her next period and their next exchange.

A few things up front:
1. The two protagonists from the past and present transmigrate into each other's bodies; all the major characters are women.
2. This is my own fictional world. Aside from the default assumption that women come first, everything else is made up, so please don't overthink it.
