My Late Husband Came Back as a Ghost to Find Me

Blurb:

She has no heart; he cannot rest in peace.

Zhou Lixin died. It was rather sudden.

His wife, whom he'd married only six months earlier and with whom he'd been inseparably close, neither mourned nor grieved. Afterward, she didn't even burn a single paper offering for him!

Just as she had before meeting him, she started wandering again, doing as she pleased, eating and drinking as usual, as if he had never existed.

When he was alive, he treated her like a treasure, afraid she'd go hungry or get cold, wishing he could place the whole world at her feet.

But what about her?

Before his bones were even cold, she was already looking for her next "prey."

...Wonderful.

Zhou Lixin watched it all from heaven, so furious his soul nearly scattered.

So he became a vengeful ghost and haunted her day after day.

After you left, even the wind felt like you.

1. Happy ending, pure love, a story about a dead husband, with memories of the couple woven into a road-trip narrative

2. Short story, only tens of thousands of words. Very little dialogue throughout, mostly narration, quite stream-of-consciousness

3. The heroine is partly characterized as a cat, written according to a cat's nature. You can just imagine her as a little white cat.

The hero will not come back to life, but it has a happy ending.

A very fantastical short romance

Theme: We will be together forever
