[Washed-Up Drama Queen x Nation's Top-Tier Star Actor] [You Must Read the Author's Note in Chapter One! It's Very Important!]
Blurb:
Lin Zhao is a notorious drama queen and pretty face in the entertainment industry, a former girl group member who's been blacklisted and hounded by scandals. For three years, nobody paid her any attention.
She thought that in today's entertainment industry, she was just a lazy nobody waiting to waste away.
But nobody knew her secret: she could understand plants.
That is, until her manager got her onto the variety show Ten Days in the Wilderness. The contestants would have to survive for ten days on a deserted island and complete the show's daily "survival missions."
Lin Zhao: "Oh? Someone's actually willing to invite me onto a variety show?"
Her manager slapped the contract down on the table. "The original female guest backed out, so they dragged you in at the last minute to fill the spot."
Lin Zhao: "..."
I knew it.
When news of the show broke, fans went wild.
Passersby: "I want to watch celebrities struggle to survive and get into catfights."
Yan Ze's fans: "Fly high, bro! Your fans will always be by your side."
The camera turned to Lin Zhao as she waved her way onto the scene. The comments were unanimous: "Quit! Quit!"
But Lin Zhao seemed to have cheat codes enabled
When it rained, she bowed to a crooked tree. "Grandpa Tree, point me in the right direction?"
And somehow, she really did find a dry cave to shelter in.
The comments flooded in: "So fake. This has to be scripted!"
When she got hungry, she squatted down and tried reasoning with a mushroom. "Buddy, are you poisonous? If not, give me a shout."
The comments: "??? What a weirdo, talking to plants. Does she really think she has superpowers?"
As the show went on, the director watched the ratings soar and Lin Zhao pull off one unbelievable feat after another, lost in thought.
Passersby: "Really? No way."
Haters: "Special effects! Special effects! Anyone who believes this is doomed!"
Only the show crew was left in despair as they realized this girl really did have a knack for making trending topics! Were they actually going to have a hit on their hands?!

Coming soon: a period crime novel, The Female Detective of the 1990s
Blurb:
Back when forensic medicine was just getting started and criminal investigations still relied on door-to-door inquiries and witness statements, female detectives were often assigned to take statements and manage household registrations. They weren't allowed to touch crime scenes. As private businesses rose and people rushed to start businesses, the nouveau riche, factory reforms, and neighborhood disputes became intertwined. No one knew that hidden clues were buried in the everyday gossip of the market vendors and factory dormitories.
Ten years ago, the girl was a young officer transferred to a local police station. Sweet-tongued and chatty, she could squat in an alley with the neighborhood elders and trade gossip. On her rounds, she remembered which family had replaced the flue on their coal stove and whose husband had been coming home late lately.
The old captain said, "Stay away from this, girl. It's bad luck for a young woman to deal with the dead."
A colleague from the major crimes unit said, "This case is too minor. It lacks scope. What good is knowing all about the neighbors?"
A local officer who often made inquiries said, "Little nobodies like us don't have the qualifications to get involved in those major cases!"
The girl said, "Funny, because I solved all those cases: the cross-district series of burglaries, the factory theft and murder, the medical student's accidental drowning, and the serial cases involving private businesses. If you can't solve cases, keep quiet."
Everyone else: "..."
Ten years later, in the nth year after her "death," the woman, no longer young, strolled along carrying a basket with two lively fish inside. She stared expressionlessly at the scene before her and called toward the other end of the alley: "Hey, someone's dead! Can someone come deal with this? I'm scared, boo-hoo."
Theme: Love can overcome any obstacle
"D directly deflate and try to drill wood..." This is a big bug for the author~ give up
"Liang Rui's friend" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
I still haven't figured out whether it is a live broadcast or a recorded broadcast. The content is really confusing.
There are a lot of things that don't match up. I said before that everyone is up, but here only the heroine is awake.
What a weird thing to write, this is still a male protagonist, the author, do you have masochistic delusions?
Both men are not good people.
But the tree is not fixed in its place. How do you know there are so many roads behind it? 😂
Alternative workplace eighty╮ (_)╭
"The boy dressed up carefully, and his black hair was styled into a fluffy texture, with a few strands of hair hanging casually in front of his forehead. It was not too neat, but added a bit of boyish laziness." This is a big bug for the author~ Pretending to be early? Makeup?
