Lin Zhixia is a genius novelist, famous under the pen name "Summer Insect," yet she herself is like an isolated island, cut off from the world. To escape her older sister Lin Zhiyue's forceful arrangements, she reluctantly joins the production of an adaptation of her novel, A Story Without an Ending, as a screenwriter, planning to become the most thorough "invisible person" she can.
She never expected that Su Wan, a gentle newcomer playing a supporting role on the production, would be her most devoted fan.
Su Wan is the only one who can see through her icy exterior and recognize all her clumsiness and childishness. To everyone else, Lin Zhixia is an unapproachable iceberg. To Su Wan, she's a cat who can be fed treats and comforted, and who needs someone to look after her. From a homemade dessert to a late-night heart-to-heart, Su Wan is like a beam of warm light, unwaveringly shining into the world Lin Zhixia has kept shut away for so long.
This is more than a mutual salvation of two souls.
Theme: This is a story about 14 girls? couples, and one "otherworldly friendship" family. When eight hearts draw close, they light each other up and piece together a complete world bathed in sunshine
