Don't Mess with This Lazy Fish

Yan Li, a carefree rogue immortal, accidentally gets her hands on a storybook. The heroine is a little fairy from the mortal realm, the hero is Siming Zhenjun from the Heavenly Court, and the second male lead is the young lord of Ziwei Palace.

The three are tangled up in love and resentment, unable to extricate themselves, and in the end all three are badly hurt, with countless cannon fodder caught in the crossfire.

At first, Yan Li is engrossed in the story. Halfway through, she discovers that the cannon-fodder immortal sent to capture the hero after he falls to demonic cultivation is also named Yan Li.

Yan Li: Huh? Me?

She looks up to see an immortal official smiling at her. "Immortal, the Celestial Emperor summons you."

.

Siming Zhenjun, the most powerful being in the Three Realms, falls to demonic cultivation for love. The Celestial Emperor searches high and low for an immortal willing to handle the matter, until his gaze settles on a rogue immortal with no connections.

The immortal officials quietly place bets on how many rounds the rogue immortal will last against the Zhenjun.

An immortal page comes racing over, looking stunned. "G-gone!"

The immortal officials sigh. "We knew it would happen..."

"N-no..." The page gasps for breath. "The Zhenjun is gone!"

"What?!"

"The Zhenjun left behind one last sentence before dying." The page turns bright red. "She's a rogue immortal, so what am I?"

"..."

.

Yan Li wants to keep a low profile as an immortal, but her strength won't let her.
